Memory of the great writer

The house where the famous writer and poet Rıfat Ilgaz was born and raised in 1911, was transformed into the Rıfat Ilgaz Culture and Art Museum in 2007. Personal belongings, photographs and works that shed light on the period can be seen in Rıfat Ilgaz’s house, who is the author of many novels, poems and theater works that have enshrined in the hearts of the Turkish public, especially Hababam Sınıfı (The Chaos Class).
