This study was carried out within the scope of Kastamonu City Portal for Promotion and Touristic Purposes Project of T. C. Kastamonu Municipality. Within the scope of the project, a website, IOS and Android Applications, videos of four of the city's favorite places to visit with VR (Virtual Reality) glasses, short touristic promotional films of forty favorite places, forty 360-degree virtual tour images, drone films and Kastamonu travel guidebook has been prepared. In addition, high-resolution photographs of nearly one hundred places were taken.
In the preparation of all the information, documents and documents used in this study, the results of the studies and researches commissioned by the Turkish Ministry of Culture and Tourism, General Directorate of Foundations, Kastamonu Governorship and Kastamonu Municipality were taken into account and used.
Kastamonu City Portal Project has been prepared in Turkish, English, German, Russian and Arabic languages to promote Kastamonu to the whole world.
All works prepared within the scope of the project are shared in a certain order, taking into account Google algorithms. In addition, current information and news about the project are shared on Instagram and Twitter addresses prepared within the scope of the project.
