Ancient artifacts of Kastamonu

The building was built by Architect Kemaleddin Bey in 1917 as a club of Union and Progress. The building, which was converted into the Independence Court in 1921, served as the Turkish Hearth, People’s Party and Kastamonu Youth Organization until 1945.

Mustafa Kemal Atatürk gave his second speech on the Hat Revolution after İnebolu on August 30, 1925 in this building.

In 1952, it started to serve as the Regional Archaeology Museum.

It hosts to many must-see archaeological artifacts from the ancient history of Kastamonu.
